Nick Adams is just a normal guy. He loves his family, appreciates his home, and covets his car. But he absolutely hates his job. Which is what makes it so difficult that not a single customer has come by his store today. Ravage: An Apocalyptic Horror Novel was a disappointment after reading Sam: A Novel Of Horror and Suspense. Maybe my expectations were too high to enjoy another Iain Rob Wright horror. The true horror were the missing words, poor spelling and punctuation which tore this reader away from the story way too many times to have given this book a higher rating. The story was good except for the unbelievability factor that none of the characters had apparently ever seen a zombie movie or read a zombie novel. It wasn’t until nearly halfway into the novel before the characters finally suggested the word “zombie”. Even with the countless WTF moments, Mr. Wright kept this reader’s attention so I could see how the story ended… or was that “the end”???
